Pumpkin Time!

Its that time of year and we carved out three of the five pumpkins we bought. Fabiana has her still to figure out and Barry will do one this Friday night. I had a mishap though. I was cutting the top off of the second pumpkin and litterally jabbed my thumb with the knife. Blood was everywhere and I was in utter pain. I have never flet that kind of pain in my life. Trust me, you never want to be stabbed. Took me 10 minutes or so to gain my composure. I was thinking every curse word there was. I sure that the Man Upstairs understands and gives me some credit for not vocalizing them in front of the kids. Man! Wow, for a minute there I even got a little dizzy. Child labor is different. Fabi of course said giving birth had to be more painful. I reminded that at that precise moment, giving birth was nothing. Poor Fabi, she ran the boys out of the kitchen because she could see the look on my face as I told everyone to , "GET OUT!" Yikes... scary mommy tonight. Oh, and no sympathy from the boys.... "We're still carving pumpkins, right?" You gotta love 'em.

Concord Mills Kid Zone

The boys absolutely love this place. Fabiana was at a birthday party so we came to pass the time so we wouldn't have to drive home and then drive back. I still hate this place. Kid zone places drive me crazy. One day the parent of one of these kids will sue me. My boys are so rough and just keep going as they plow down other kids. Ooops.

A Day at the Park

Son this past Saturday I only had Lucas and Paulo. Fabiana and JD were with their grandma Mimi. So I met up with Tiffany,a co-worker of mine..not my sitter, and we went to Monkey Joe's, had lunch at Tony's Pizzeria and then went to the park. NOT a day in the park. I needed a nap more than they did. Thanks Tiffany for a great day!! The boys had a blast as I did. I will upload photos as soon as I can find my data USB cable for my phone.

Charleston with Barry

This was a two and a half day weekend away from all the things that give us heartburn. Missed the kids the whole time, but had a wonderful time with Barry. He is so amazing and am constantly surprised by his generosity and compassionate nature. He is so kind and so extremely funny. He and Dad will have no problems getting along when they come for Thanksgiving. I can't wait for the two most important men in my life to meet. We we come holidays!!!

More Pictures From Last Weekend

Sugarland and Sky Diving

Hello everyone. Wow,It has been a few weeks since our last post. This last weekend Barry and I went to the Verizon Amphitheater and saw a country band called Sugarland play. They were phenomenal. They sound better in concert then on the radio. It was amazing! Then on Sunday, what I thought was going to be a leisurely bike ride turned into "SKY DIVING!" Take a look.
